Andrew H. Fowler, MD, FACC
Dr. Andrew Fowler is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases and holds a specialized board certification in interventional cardiology. Dr. Fowler was instrumental in integrating fractional flow reserve, a technique which improves the ability to see the significance of a blockage, into catheterizations in Chattanooga.
He completed his fellowship in cardiology at the Medical University of South Carolina where he further pursued advanced training with a specialized fellowship in interventional cardiology. Dr. Fowler completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He graduated magna cum laude from Furman University with a B.S. degree in chemistry and B.A. degree in music.
Dr. Fowler and his wife enjoy spending time with their family and particularly enjoy watching their children’s sports activities.
