Voluntary recall of certain medications

The Food and Drug Administration has issued voluntary recalls of certain pharmaceutical repackagers of the prescription medications Valsartan and Valsartan HCTZ  due to detection of a trace amount of unexpected impurities in the product.  Please check with your pharmacy to see if you are taking one of the voluntary recalled products.
